Overview
A complete custom hardware set for a luthier-built guitar — bridge, tailpiece, and nut — machined from solid brass to the luthier's drawings, with a hand-polished finish.
The Challenge
The luthier required hardware with specific dimensional characteristics not available from any supplier, including a non-standard string spacing at the bridge and an asymmetric nut profile to match the custom neck geometry.
The Outcome
All three pieces machined and finished in 5 days. The luthier completed the guitar build and has since returned for two more custom hardware sets on subsequent instrument builds.
