Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to your use of the Global3D website and any enquiries, quotes, and orders made through it.

Terms Of Use

Our website address is: https://global3d.com.au.

1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Global3D website (global3d.com.au) and every enquiry, quote, and order placed with Singular 3DP Pty Ltd trading as Global3D (ABN 44 664 242 915) ("Global3D", "we", "us"). By using this website, requesting a quote, or accepting a quote, you agree to these Terms. If you accept a quote on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. Website Use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any of our systems or data. Content on this website — including pricing guides and instant estimates — is general information only and does not constitute a binding offer.

3. Quotes and Estimates

The instant estimate shown on our quote calculator is indicative only and is not a binding price. A binding price is only created when we issue you a formal written quote and you accept it.

  • Quotes are based on the files, specifications, and information you supply. If any of these change, we may withdraw or revise the quote.

  • Each quote is valid until the expiry date shown on it. We may decline to honour an expired quote or reissue it at current pricing.

  • Quotes may include optional line items and shipping options. Your order consists of the items and shipping option selected at the time you accept.

4. Quote Acceptance

You accept a quote using the secure online quote link we send you. Acceptance creates a binding agreement for the selected items at the quoted price, on these Terms.

  • Acceptance requires you to confirm your item selections and choose a delivery or pickup option.

  • If we revise a quote after acceptance (for example, at your request), the revised quote must be accepted again before work continues.

  • A purchase order number you supply is for your reference only — your purchasing terms do not override these Terms unless we agree in writing.

5. Payment Terms

Unless your quote states a different payment schedule, all jobs follow this schedule:

  • Initial Deposit — 20% of the total, due on acceptance of the quote. We do not order materials or schedule production until the deposit is received.

  • Completion Payment — 80% of the total, due when your job reaches our final quality assurance and fulfilment stage. Completed items are not dispatched or released for collection until the order is paid in full.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Payments are made via the secure online payment link on your quote page, or by another method we agree to. A tax invoice is issued for each instalment paid. The deposit covers set-up, scheduling, and materials, and is non-refundable once work has commenced, except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Your Files, Designs and Intellectual Property

You warrant that you own or are licensed to use all files, designs, images, and instructions you provide, and that manufacturing your parts will not infringe any third party's rights. You indemnify us against claims arising from material you supply. You retain ownership of your designs; we use your files solely to produce your order, communicate with you about it, and support any future reorders you request. We may securely retain uploaded files for this purpose — contact us if you would like them deleted. Unless you ask us not to, we may photograph completed work for our portfolio and marketing without disclosing confidential details.

7. Material and Specification Selections Are Final

The material, colour, finish, infill, quantity, and other specifications confirmed when you accept the quote are final. Once production has commenced, specification changes are not possible, and we will manufacture to the accepted specification. If you need a change before production starts, contact us — where we can accommodate it, we will issue a revised quote that must be accepted before work continues. Material colours and finishes can vary slightly between manufacturer batches; such variation is not a defect.

8. Your Responsibilities During the Job

Custom manufacturing relies on your input at each phase of the job, and responsibility for each phase's outcome rests with you once you have approved it:

  • Files and specifications. You are responsible for the accuracy, geometry, dimensions, and print-readiness of the files you supply. We manufacture what you provide and approve, and we are not responsible for issues in parts manufactured faithfully to your files or approved designs.

  • Design phase. Where a job includes design or CAD work, we proceed on the basis of your approval of designs or proofs. Your approval confirms the design meets your requirements; changes after approval are quoted as additional work.

  • Production and finishing. Once production starts, work proceeds to the approved specification. Requests to alter, pause, or restart work mid-production may incur additional charges.

  • Communication. You agree to respond promptly to approval requests and payment notices. Delays in your responses extend lead times. If we cannot reach you for 30 days, we may pause the job or treat it as cancelled, and costs incurred remain payable.

9. Manufacturing Variability and Tolerances

Additive manufacturing, machining, and finishing processes have inherent tolerances and cosmetic variation. Unless agreed in writing, parts are produced to the standard tolerances and typical surface quality of the selected process and material. Visible layer lines, minor support-removal marks, small surface inconsistencies, and slight dimensional variation within process norms are characteristics of the technology, not defects. Mechanical properties vary with print orientation, material, and geometry.

10. Lead Times

Lead times are estimates made in good faith, not guarantees. They are affected by production queues, material availability, part complexity, finishing requirements, and your response times. We will keep you informed of significant changes, but we are not liable for losses arising from a change to an estimated completion or delivery date.

11. Delivery and Shipping

Where you select delivery, we pack orders appropriately and dispatch via our nominated carriers (including Australia Post and local couriers). Delivery timeframes are the carrier's and outside our control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to your nominated address. Please inspect your order on arrival and notify us of any transit damage or missing items within 7 days, with photos of the packaging and parts, so we can assist with a carrier claim or remedy.

12. Collection of Pickup Orders

Where you select pickup, we will notify you when your order is ready for collection from our Bibra Lake premises.

  • Orders must be collected within 14 days of the ready-for-collection notice, and must be paid in full before or at collection.

  • If an order is not collected within 14 days, we may charge a reasonable storage fee for each additional week or part week.

  • If an order remains uncollected for 90 days without an arrangement with us, we may treat it as abandoned and dispose of or resell it to recover our costs. Amounts already paid are applied against costs incurred and are not refunded.

13. Cancellations and Changes

Because every order is custom-made:

  • You may cancel before paying the deposit at no charge.

  • If you cancel after acceptance but before production starts, we may retain from your deposit the costs we have already incurred (including design time, scheduling, and materials ordered).

  • Once production has started, the quoted price for work performed and materials used remains payable, up to the full order amount.

  • We may cancel a job if you breach these Terms, if required payments are not made, or if we reasonably believe the work would be unlawful — in which case you remain liable for costs incurred to that point.

14. Returns, Refunds and Defects

All items are custom manufactured to your order. To the extent permitted by law, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, ordering errors (including wrong material, colour, size, or quantity), or for parts manufactured faithfully to your files and approved specifications.

If you believe an item has a manufacturing defect or does not match the accepted quote, notify us within 7 days of delivery or collection with photos and a description. Where a defect is verified, we will, at our election, repair the item, remanufacture it, or refund the affected amount.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or other right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Fitness for Purpose and Safety-Critical Use

Our parts are produced to your specification. Unless we expressly agree in writing, we do not warrant that parts are fit for any particular application, and parts are not certified for medical, aerospace, automotive safety, structural, load-bearing, food-contact, or other safety-critical uses. You are responsible for validating, testing, and certifying parts for your intended application.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, revenue, or opportunity), and our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our election, to resupplying the goods or services or paying the cost of resupply.

17. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this website when you accept a quote applies to that order. A quote may also include special conditions — if they conflict with these Terms, the special conditions prevail for that order.
