The Challenge
The client needed a one-off manifold to combine 14 hydraulic lines in a confined space on a custom machine. No off-the-shelf manifold existed for this configuration. The passages required intersecting bores at angles not achievable with standard drill press work.
The Outcome
Machined in 3 days including setup and programming. All 14 ports and passages tested leak-free at 280 bar. The manifold reduced the hydraulic line count in the machine bay from 14 individual lines to 2, dramatically simplifying the installation.
