A freshly printed resin part is only partly cured and still coated in liquid resin. The washing and curing steps that follow are not optional extras, they are what turn a fragile green part into a finished one with its full properties.
Why the steps matter
Washing removes uncured resin from the surface, which is important for both finish and safe handling. Curing then completes the chemical reaction, bringing the part up to its intended strength, hardness and stability.
Skip or rush these steps and parts can stay tacky, brittle or prone to warping over time.
