Production run of 24 replacement conveyor belt guards for a mid-tier gold mine. Original plastic guards had a 6-week OEM lead time; we produced the full set in ASA in under 2 weeks.
The Challenge
The mine was operating degraded conveyor guards that were creating a safety compliance issue. OEM supply was unavailable for 6 weeks. The parts needed UV stability and impact resistance for the outdoor mining environment.
The Outcome
24 guards delivered in 11 days. Printed in ASA for UV and weather resistance. The parts have since been running for 8 months with no reported failures, and the mine now maintains a standing order for annual replacement stock.
