Production engraving of 1,200 stainless steel asset tags for a large-scale mining operation, each with unique asset ID, QR code, equipment class, and location identifier. Delivered in 5 days.
The Challenge
The mine's asset management system was being upgraded to a QR-based digital system. 1,200 new tags needed to be produced with unique sequential data, readable QR codes, and text small enough to fit on 50 × 25mm tags without compromise.
The Outcome
All 1,200 tags produced in 4.5 days using 1.2mm stainless steel stock. QR codes tested 100% readable on standard mobile device cameras. The tags have been in service for 14 months with no reported failures in harsh site conditions.
