X-mas Candy Bowl

A layered pine tree tray in smooth PLA+, ready to fill with lollies for family movie nights.

Look closely and you will notice the horizontal ridges running up every side, like growth rings on a little pine trunk. That texture is not an accident: it comes straight off the 3D printer and gives this candy dish its rustic, hand hewn charm. From above, the stacked trays step in at the shoulders just like a real conifer, and a triangular cap sits on top as the treetop lid. The dish is printed in four separate parts: a wide base tray, two stacking inserts that shrink as they climb, and the pointed lid on top. Stack them and you get one solid looking Christmas tree. Split them apart and you get three individual serving trays, perfect for keeping the candy canes away from the chocolates. Everything is printed in PLA+, so the interior faces come out smooth enough to tip sweets straight in without snagging any wrappers. Fill the base with foil wrapped chocolates, load the middle tray with striped candy canes and soft lollies, and let the top tier hold whatever needs pride of place on the table this year. One sharp eyed customer even pointed out that once the sweets are gone, the tiered trays make a rather good little dollhouse for the kids. Printed to order here in Australia and ready in a couple of days. We usually print this one in classic holiday tones, think emerald green, fire engine red, gold or a warm light wood look, though white suits a Nordic Christmas table just as well.
