Twistdrop Led Candle Ornaments

Twist a flame, freeze it in place, and you get the Twistdrop. Each ornament is a hollow teardrop wrapped in a deep spiral of ribs that curl from the base right up to a narrow tip, so the whole piece reads like a drop of water caught mid-swirl. Slip a flameless LED tealight underneath and the ribbing does the real work: the grooves catch and scatter the light, so the ornament glows in soft bands rather than one flat wash. Group four, five or six together and you get the layered, flickering effect a single piece cannot manage on its own. A loop is built into the tip for hanging straight on the tree, or you can rest the ornament flat on a mantel, windowsill or table for a warm centrepiece glow. The design is sized around a standard 37mm tealight, and scales cleanly if your candles run a different size, so the proportions stay true no matter what you are lighting it with. Printed to order in PLA+, with a finish that lets the glow through without losing the crisp ribbing that makes this shape work. Ready in a day or two, so there is time to build your cluster before the tree goes up.
