Thinking Man Bookends
A pair of PLA+ printed philosopher statues that lean against your books and keep them standing tall.
Rodin's famous pose, chin resting on the back of a curled hand, elbow braced on the opposite knee, translates beautifully into a working bookend. Our version keeps every line of that seated figure, from the furrowed brow to the tension in the shoulders, perched on its own small rocky base.
Behind the figure sits a flat panel and a slim foot that slides under your book stack, so the sculpture is doing real work, not just sitting pretty. Printed in PLA+, the fine detail in the face, hands and muscles comes out crisp, and the layered surface takes on a rich sheen that reads more like cast metal than plastic.
Sold as a pair, one thinker leaning in from each side of the shelf. Order both in the same colour for a matching set, or mix a bronze tone on one side with a gunmetal tone on the other for a bit of contrast.
Printed to order here in Australia and usually ready within a couple of days. A thoughtful gift for readers, writers, philosophy students or anyone whose desk could use a little more gravitas.
