Thinking Man Bookends

Rodin's famous pose, chin resting on the back of a curled hand, elbow braced on the opposite knee, translates beautifully into a working bookend. Our version keeps every line of that seated figure, from the furrowed brow to the tension in the shoulders, perched on its own small rocky base. Behind the figure sits a flat panel and a slim foot that slides under your book stack, so the sculpture is doing real work, not just sitting pretty. Printed in PLA+, the fine detail in the face, hands and muscles comes out crisp, and the layered surface takes on a rich sheen that reads more like cast metal than plastic.
