Tempo - Headphone Stand

Tempo is what happens when a headphone stand stops being an afterthought. The triangular loop of tubing seems to float above the desk, and from the front the whole silhouette reads as one clean, continuous line, right up until your headset rests in the curved cradle at the top and completes the shape. That top rest is the detail we get the most comments on. It is wide and gently rounded, so the weight of your headband spreads evenly across it instead of pinching into one spot the way a thin hook does. No creases in the padding, no leaning to one side on the shelf. The base and the top rest are separate parts, which means you can print or order Tempo as a genuine two piece, two colour build without needing a multi material printer. Ours is shown in a warm amber base with a contrasting darker top rest, but the design works just as well in a single tone if you want something quieter. The triangular footprint is the reason it never tips when you drop your headphones on or lift them off in a hurry between meetings or matches.
