Starflex | Flexi Christmas Star Ornament Keychain
A sleepy gear face hides in this star, wiggling at every point on the tree or your keys.
Look closely and this star is doing two things at once: it is a classic eight-pointed Christmas star, and it is a tiny smiling gear, complete with two curved sleepy eyes cut right through the centre. It hangs from a cord loop at the top spike, catching the light on a branch just as happily as it catches your eye on a keyring.
Each point is joined to that central hub with small interlocking teeth, printed already assembled in one go, so there is no glue and nothing to snap together. Give any spike a gentle nudge and the whole star flexes and settles back into shape, which is exactly the kind of fidgety, satisfying detail that makes people pick it up off the desk without meaning to.
We print it in PLA+ for a smooth, dense finish that holds the fine gear teeth and the little cut-out eyes cleanly, whether you choose a metallic gold or silver for a classic bauble look, or red and green if you want it to read as Christmas from across the room.
Hang it near the top of the tree where the star shape reads clearly, clip it to a gift as a bit of extra flair, or thread it onto your keys as a small, wiggly companion for the rest of the year. Printed to order in Australia, so it is on its way quickly during the busy lead-up to Christmas.
