Saladin Vase
A 3D printed openwork vase with a curved silhouette and diamond lattice, ready for your favourite stems.
Some vases hold flowers. This one holds light too. The Saladin vase takes its name from a design collection inspired by the Arabian Nights, and it shows in every side of this piece: a fine, repeating diamond lattice that wraps the whole vase like a piece of carved palace screen brought down to tabletop scale.
The silhouette does the rest of the work. It curves in at the waist and flares back out at the top and base, giving the vase a soft hourglass shape that catches the light differently depending on where you stand. Slide your stems in and the lower leaves and stems show straight through the mesh, so the vase becomes part of the display rather than just something that holds it up.
Each one is 3D printed as a single piece in PLA+, with a smooth matte finish on every strut of the lattice. It is genuinely light for its size, so moving it between rooms or repositioning it for a dinner party is no effort at all. Because the whole vase is openwork, we recommend a slim jar or floral tube inside to hold the water, then let the lattice do the rest of the styling.
Set one on a sideboard with a single dramatic stem, group a few down the centre of the dining table for a boho dinner party look, or let it stand alone on an entryway console where the shadow play becomes the whole decoration.
