Root-roll
A sculptural root shaped stem holds your roll steady and doubles as a tear guide.
Some designs mimic nature just for looks. This one borrows an actual root's job: growing upward, bracing itself, holding something steady. The Root-Roll takes that same twisting, gnarled form and turns it into a paper towel holder that looks like it grew straight out of your benchtop.
Two flat discs, one at the base and one as a cap, sandwich a single winding root like stem in between. Slide your roll on and that stem runs right alongside it: the gentle curve doubles as a built in stop, so you can rest the sheet against it to find the tear line instead of hunting for the edge with wet fingers.
3D printed in one continuous piece from PETG, it is built to live where paper towel holders actually live, next to the sink, near the stove, handled with hands that are rarely completely dry. It comfortably fits rolls up to about 24cm tall and 12cm across, and the light build means you can lift the whole thing, roll and all, wherever you need it.
Style it on an open kitchen shelf, a butcher's block or a dining table for guests, its sculptural shape earns its keep as much as it earns compliments. Printed to order in Australia in a range of natural tones, from mossy olive to deep army green.
