Riva Table Lamp

Some lamps light a room. The Riva sculpts the light. Every inch of its shade is covered in a rippling pattern of overlapping scales, built from rail sweeps mapped over a rounded surface of revolution, so no two curves catch the light quite the same way. Switch it on and the ridges throw soft shadow lines across the surface while a warm glow pools at its base. The form itself is a gentle egg shape, wider through the middle and tapering at the crown, sitting low and solid on a tabletop or console. It reads as sculpture first, lamp second, the kind of piece guests pick up and turn over before they ask where you found it. We print the Riva in PLA+ for the crispest possible detail on those layered scales, and stock it in soft, light-transmitting tones, White, Natural, Transparent and Bone, so the glow through the shade stays warm rather than muddy.
