Four slender corner posts frame a square lantern body, with a delicate ripple mesh panel on every side that catches the light and spreads it evenly across the room. Designed by Lunfardo, the Riku takes its cue from traditional Japanese paper lamps but swaps fragile rice paper for a durable 3D printed diffuser. The fine ripple texture is what gives the lamp its signature look: hundreds of tiny raised lines that turn a plain bulb into a warm, honeycomb-like glow once switched on. Printed in PLA+ with a light 15 percent infill, the lamp keeps its posts crisp and its panels light enough to let plenty of warm light through. It sits happily on a side table, dresser or reading corner, and pairs beautifully with timber furniture for a natural, grounded look. Each lamp is printed to order, so lead time is short and every panel comes out with the same fine, even texture.
