PLANTER01-04

Planter 01

A two-piece reservoir planter that quietly keeps herbs, succulents and leafy houseplants hydrated for days.

Give your plants a drink on autopilot. This self-watering planter pairs a tapered inner pot with a matching reservoir base, so herbs, succulents and leafy houseplants can pull moisture up exactly when they need it, no more guessing when to top up the watering can. Lift the pot out and the trick is easy to see: four slim wicking slots cut into a raised inner shelf draw water up from the reservoir below, while a small cut out window in the base lets you check the water level at a glance, no tipping the plant out to look. We print the whole thing in PETG Basic, a material that shrugs off standing water far better than a basic decorative plastic. The rim has a quiet bit of movement too. Rather than sitting dead level, it slopes on a gentle diagonal, so the pot reads as a sculptural object even before anything is planted in it. Order the pot and its reservoir base in two different colours for a proper two-tone look, or keep both the same for something calmer. Designed by Martin Zampach as part of the ongoing PLANTER series and printed to order here in Australia, with your planter usually ready within one to two days.
