Piggy Banks 4
A ribbed, bottle-shaped money box in smooth PLA+ that turns loose change into a tidy desk feature.
Forget the pink ceramic pig. This money box takes its cues from a well-worn glass bottle, tapering from a rounded shoulder up to a narrow neck, with a full ring of vertical ribs running top to bottom like fluted stonework. A neat slot is cut straight into the flat top disc, sized for coins to slide in one at a time.
Every rib is 3D printed in PLA+, which is why the grooves stay sharp and evenly spaced instead of blurring into a soft column. The surface has a subtle matte texture that catches light differently depending on the angle you view it from, giving the piece a handmade, almost architectural feel rather than a toy shop one.
It earns its keep on a desk catching stray coins at the end of the day, on a bedside table for a kid saving up pocket money, or on a shelf simply because it looks good sitting there. There is no bung or removable base: like a real bottle bank, once the coins are in, you are committed to filling it.
Printed to order with a short one to two day lead time, so you are not waiting weeks for a coin jar. Pick the finish that suits the room, from a clean white to a moody matte black, and it goes from novelty gift to genuine bit of decor.
