Parametric Bamboo Planter
A ribbed hydro planter that tells you exactly when your lucky bamboo needs water, no glass jars required.
Lucky bamboo deserves better than a murky glass jar on the windowsill. This fluted planter gives your stalks and cuttings a proper home, with a built in gauge that removes all the guesswork from watering.
Underneath the sculpted, wave shaped base sit three simple parts: a base, a top plate with dedicated stalk slots, and a hidden float. Pour water in and watch the float rise through its channel, so you always know at a glance when it is time to top up, no more lifting stalks to check.
Every planter is fully parametric, so the footprint and stalk count scale to suit a single dramatic spiral cane or a fuller propagation station with several cuttings side by side. We print it in PETG Basic rather than standard PLA, because this one holds real water day after day and needs a base that shrugs off damp instead of softening.
The vertical fluted texture reads as much like architecture as it does a plant pot, at home on a bookshelf, office desk or kitchen windowsill. Printed to order in Australia and finished raw straight off the plate, choose a wood tone to blend in or matte black or white to stand out.
