Orb | String Art Pendant Light
Two woven rings interlock like a chain, 3D printed in PLA+ to cast a warm lattice glow.
Picture a spirograph drawing pulled into three dimensions: taut diagonal lines crossing hundreds of times inside a slim ring, throwing a lattice of diamond shadows the moment a bulb switches on. That is the Orb pendant light, and the string art effect is entirely 3D printed, no actual thread involved.
Each ring loops through the next like links in a chain, so the fixture reads as one continuous sculptural form rather than a stack of parts. In the photos the top ring in deep Midnight blue cradles an exposed filament bulb, while a second ring in a warm Natural tone hangs through it, swinging gently below.
Printed in PLA+ for the crispest possible finish on those fine crossing struts, each ring measures roughly 25cm across and slips onto a standard E26/E27 fitting, so almost any decorative bulb will work. Add more rings to the chain if you want a longer drop over a dining table or stairwell.
Every Orb is printed to order in Australia in the colour of your choice, from moody Midnight blue to warm Natural or classic Black. A genuinely different kind of pendant light, made for anyone who wants their ceiling to do more than hold a bulb.
