Some vases hide the making process. The Stacked Ribbed Ring Vase puts it on full display: three plump, rounded tiers, each wrapped edge to edge in the fine ribbed lines the printer leaves behind, layer by layer. It turns the 3D printing process itself into the decoration, rather than something to sand away. The silhouette is soft and sculptural, like a stack of doughnuts settling under their own weight, tapering gently from a wide top ring down to a firmer base. It is substantial enough to anchor a big, wild bouquet, think sprawling poppies, ferny foliage and stems that spill out over the rim, without disappearing underneath it. Each vase is 3D printed in PLA+, which holds that continuous rib pattern crisp and keeps the finish smooth to the touch. Printed to order in Australia, ready in a day or two.
