Nobody - Bishop

A textured, stone-finish figure inspired by Rodin's Thinker, 3D printed in PLA+ for shelves, desks and chess lovers.

Every good chess set needs a thinker, and ours does not hide behind a face to earn the title. This seated figure loops and folds into itself, one arm draped over a bent knee, a hand tucked up near where a chin would be, if it had one. It is our take on Rodin's classic pose, reworked as the Bishop for the NObody chess collection, strategy and quiet contemplation poured into one continuous ribbon of form. We print it in PLA+ and leave the surface raw, straight off the plate, so the fine granular texture you see is the print itself rather than something sanded away. Under a lamp or in afternoon light it reads almost like carved stone, all soft shadows across the curling limbs and smooth oval head. Sit it on a bookshelf as a standalone art object, use it as the odd one out on a games table, or start collecting the rest of the NObody set piece by piece. It photographs beautifully next to books, a small cactus, anything with a bit of texture of its own. Printed to order here in Australia, usually ready within a couple of days. We finish it in a stone toned white or bone as standard, or ask for black or grey if you are matching it to the other side of the board.
