Neuro Lamp
A 3D printed root-like base in PLA+ that turns any side table into a genuine talking point.
Some lamps light a room. This one starts a conversation. The base is a tangle of thick, root-like limbs that twist, cross and fuse into each other on their way up to the shade, the kind of interlocking overhangs that would be a nightmare to carve or mould but come together naturally, layer by layer, in a 3D printer.
At the neck, where the limbs gather to meet the shade, a ring of curved slits is cut straight through the print. Switch the lamp on and warm light spills out through those gaps in glowing concentric arcs, almost like sonar pulsing outward before it disappears up into the pleated, faceted shade above.
It is compact enough to sit happily on a side table, a console, or a bedside shelf, and bold enough to hold its own next to bright artwork, dried grasses or anything else you have going on nearby. It reads as sculpture first, lamp second, which is exactly the point.
Each base is 3D printed to order in PLA+ with a raw, unsanded finish that keeps every twist and bridge crisp. Lead time is typically just one to two days, and you can choose the colour that suits your space.
