Remember the stick-figure family stickers people used to put on the back of the car? MySkullFamily takes that idea and gives it a cheeky twist. Five skull characters stand shoulder to shoulder along a curved ribbon banner, and no two faces match: a goggle-wearing skull with a moustache, a beanie-clad skull with a gappy grin, a taller mohawked skull front and centre, a headscarf-and-eyepatch skull, and a pirate-hatted skull with a nose ring. It reads like a family photo for a household with a sense of humour. Printed as a single piece in PLA+, the raw finish leaves the fine crosshatch texture of the print visible across the banner, which only adds to the handmade, workshop feel. It stays light in the hand yet holds crisp detail right down to the smallest eye socket and ribbon tip. We photographed ours mounted just above a door peephole, and it instantly turned a plain hallway door into a conversation starter, but it suits a bedroom door, a share house entrance or a feature wall just as well for anyone who likes their decor with a bit of personality. Every sign is printed to order in your choice of colour, from the soft sky blue shown here to a moodier matte black or a bone tone for a more skeletal look, ready within one to two days.
