Michael

A sculptural vase mode centrepiece with a soft pinched waist for shelves, consoles and dried stems.

Some vases whisper, this one makes a statement. The silhouette starts as a wide ribbed barrel, pulls in sharply at the waist, then softens into a rounded knot before flaring back out, so the eye keeps moving around the piece instead of stopping flat. Each one is 3D printed in a single continuous pass using vase mode, which leaves fine vertical ridges running edge to edge with no seams or breaks. Printed in PLA+, the surface stays crisp along every sharp shoulder and smooth through the soft central curve. Because it prints as one hollow shell rather than a sealed vessel, we recommend using it with a glass jar or waterproof liner for fresh stems, or simply filling it with dried pampas, pussy willow or paper reeds and letting the shape do the talking. It reads just as well as a solo sculptural object on a shelf. Bold, geometric and a little bit industrial, it suits a concrete console as easily as a timber sideboard. Printed to order in Australia in your choice of colour, from a punchy lime to a moodier matte black.
