MEL-wall-clock copy

Mel Wall Clock

A surreal, drip shaped 3D printed clock that turns any blank wall into a playful talking point.

Somewhere between a wall clock and a work of art, the Mel Wall Clock captures a single frozen moment of melting motion. The round face droops into thick drips along the bottom edge, some short and stubby, others stretching down into long, rounded blobs, so the whole piece looks like it is still mid drip on your wall. Numbers only appear at 12, 3 and 9, with a stretched oval loop standing in for the 6, tucked right where the drips begin. Teardrop shaped markers dot the rest of the dial, echoing the melt theme all the way round. Two curled pink wire style hands sweep the hours and minutes, while a slim red second hand ticks past with a small decorative flourish at its tip and a gold centre pin holding it all together. Printed in PLA+ for a smooth, clean finish on every curve and drip, the clock is light enough to hang from a single hook or picture hanger. It reads as a genuine sculptural piece up close, not a flat print, thanks to the raised markers and dimensional drips. Perfect for a kitchen, home office, living room or anywhere that could use a dose of playful surrealism. Shown here in sky blue, it can also be printed in white, matte black, yellow or matte pink to match your space or your sense of humour.
