Marga Adaptive Lampshade
Switch between pendant and table styling as this woven mesh shade casts warm, dappled light across any room.
Some lampshades just cover a bulb. The Marga Adaptive Lampshade puts on a show. Its RippleMesh surface is built from thousands of tiny interlocking scales, so when the bulb switches on, light spills through the gaps in a dappled, chainmail-like pattern that dances across your walls and ceiling.
Designed to adapt to however you want to use it, the shade slips onto a table lamp base for a warm bedside glow, or hangs solo from a pendant cord as a dramatic ceiling feature above a dining table or reading nook. Either way it takes a standard E27 bulb, so fitting one in is simple.
We 3D print each shade in PLA+, layer by layer, which is exactly how that fine ripple texture becomes possible: a woven, almost knitted look that would be near impossible to mould or sew. It is light in the hand, with a raw finish that keeps every ridge of the mesh crisp and touchable.
Style it as the moody centrepiece of a reading corner, above a console table, or clustered in twos over a dining setting for a proper conversation piece. We recommend an LED bulb to keep things running warm, not hot.
Printed to order here in Australia, with a small palette of colours to suit your space, from deep black drama to warm natural tones.
