Every Malla lamp starts as a single spool of PETG and comes out looking like it was woven from cane. The shade wraps a tight diagonal basket weave in overlapping horizontal bands, so when the bulb switches on the whole cylinder glows with the soft, dappled warmth of real fibre lighting, no actual weaving required. The design comes in three shade heights, a compact 150mm shade with five rings, a 203mm mid size with seven rings, and a tall 256mm version, all sitting on a solid ribbed base you can also size from 100mm up to 156mm. Every shade shares the same 209mm diameter, and the base takes either an E14 or E26/27 bulb, so it is easy to match to the cord and fitting you already own. Sit it on a nightstand for a lamp that reads like a sculpture with the light off, or use it to soften a living room corner where you want glow rather than glare. The woven texture does the hard work of diffusing the light evenly across the whole shade, so there are no harsh hotspots even close up.
