Lava Vase
A tactile 3D printed vase covered in bold ridged bubbles, roomy enough for a proper bunch and light enough for one hand.
Some vases hide the making. This one puts it front and centre: a grid of rounded, lava-like bubbles wraps the whole cylinder, each one ridged with the fine horizontal lines only a 3D printer can lay down. It looks carved, but every curve came straight off the print bed.
Printed in PETG Basic rather than a purely decorative plastic, it is built to actually hold water for fresh stems, not just look at flowers from a safe distance. The raised bubble texture doubles as grip, so it stays steady in a wet hand on the way to the table.
Fill it with a loose bunch of dried statice and pampas for texture on texture, or let a single leafy stem do the talking on a narrow shelf. It is roomy enough for a proper handful of stems and compact enough to sit comfortably in one hand.
Printed to order here in Australia and ready within a couple of days. Choose soft Matte Lavender for a pastel moment, Light Brown or Burnt Titanium for warm earthy tones, or Volcanic Rock Grey if you want the lava theme taken literally.
