Some vases try hard to look handmade. This one actually pulls it off. Every surface carries a fine woven texture, ridge over ridge, that mimics coiled jute rope right down to the slightly uneven rim and the single looped handle on one side. The body has a soft, organic taper, narrow through the waist and flaring gently at the mouth, so the silhouette feels more like a hand thrown pot than a straight sided container. We 3D print it in PLA+, which holds every knit like ridge crisply and gives the surface a warm, matte texture that reads as natural fibre rather than plastic. Drop in a bunch of daisies straight from the garden, or use it dry for pens, hair ties, succulents or the odds and ends every entryway collects. The looped handle makes it easy to shift from the kitchen bench to the windowsill without wrapping your whole hand around the body. Printed to order in Australia in a range of warm, natural tones from soft beige through to a cheerful yellow. Ready in a couple of days, and light enough to post anywhere in the country.
