A ribbed PLA+ sculpture inspired by ancient stone guardians, ready to hold pens, succulents or fresh flowers.

Meet the Silent Dude, a stacked totem vase that channels the calm, weathered presence of Easter Island's Moai statues into something you can actually put on a shelf. A broad, cupped top sits above two rounded bulbous forms and a solid stepped foot, with the faintest suggestion of a brow and a pair of ear like nubs carrying the face through without ever tipping into novelty. Every centimetre is covered in fine vertical ribbing, the kind of detail only 3D printing can pull off. Thousands of thin layers stack on top of each other to build that corduroy texture, and the raw, unpainted finish means you are looking at the print process itself rather than a coat of paint hiding it. Use it exactly how you like. Stand a few pencils and a pair of scissors in the top cup at your desk, drop in a faux succulent, or let it hold a small bunch of fresh stems on the kitchen table. The flared, scalloped rim gives whatever you put inside a little extra presence. Printed in PLA+ to order, with a lead time of just one to two days. Choose the earthy olive shown in our workshop shots, a warm mustard yellow, a deep marsala red, or a moody matte black if you want the guardian to disappear into a dark shelf.
