IAP Sine Wave Lamp - photo 1

IAP Sine Wave Lamp

Mathematical curves 3D printed in matte PLA+, turning a simple LED puck into sculptural mood lighting.

Some lamps light a room. This one performs. The shade is a stack of pure sine waves wrapped into a cylinder, each band offset from the last so diamond shaped windows open up all the way around. Switch on the puck light inside and every window glows warm gold, throwing rippled shadows across the wall. Each shade is 3D printed as one seamless piece in PLA+, so those flowing curves have no joins, no seams and no assembly. The solid drum base hides the light completely and sits flat on any shelf, desk or bedside table. It is designed around the standard 60mm puck light, the slim 8mm style sold everywhere. Use a battery powered puck and the whole lamp goes cord free, which makes it perfect for rentals, floating shelves and anywhere a power point is not. Printed to order in Australia and usually ready within a couple of days. Matte black is the showstopper, but a white shade glows beautifully too, so ask about colours to suit your space.
