IAP Sea Falcon Vase V2
Rippling 3D printed fins in PLA+, with a clear insert so fresh flowers are welcome.
Some objects look like they were made; the Sea Falcon vase looks like it grew. Hundreds of slender fins ripple around its wavy, organic form, rising and falling like coral on a reef, so the piece reads differently from every angle and throws beautiful soft shadows in natural light.
Each vase is 3D printed in PLA+ with the texture built straight into the form, no moulds, no joins, no two viewing angles alike. Inside sits a simple transparent insert that does the practical work: fill it with water for fresh blooms and the sculptural outer shell stays completely dry. Prefer dried stems or pampas? Skip the insert and go straight in.
The design is fully scalable, so we can print it at a size that suits a bedside table, a bookshelf vignette or a statement spot on the dining table. The sandy beige is a natural favourite, and it also prints beautifully in matte white, sea green, dusty pink or black.
Printed to order in Australia and usually ready within a couple of days. Sculpture first, vase always.
