Hearts Vase

Some vases hold flowers. This one flirts. The Hearts Vase is wrapped in hundreds of fine vertical ribs, like corduroy turned into ceramic, and plump hearts swell out of that texture in soft relief all the way around. Tilt it in the light and the ridges throw shifting stripes of highlight and shadow across every heart. It is 3D printed as one continuous piece in PLA+, so the texture flows unbroken from the base to the wide open mouth. No seams, no joins, no assembly. It is also surprisingly light, which makes it easy to move between the mantel, the bedside table and the dinner table centrepiece spot. Fill it with dried bunny tails, preserved roses or faux stems, or thread fairy lights through it for a warm evening glow. For fresh flowers, simply pop a glass or jar inside and it happily plays vase for real blooms too. Empty, it holds its own as pure sculpture. Each vase is printed to order in Australia and usually ready within a couple of days. Bold red is the Valentine classic, but soft pinks and matte white turn it into decor that works all year round.
