Gyro Cup Holder - photo 1

Gyro Cup Holder

A multi-axis gimbal in printed PETG that keeps your drink upright through every turn and tilt.

Some objects are impossible to put down, and this is one of them. The gyroscopic cup holder is a working gimbal you can hold in one hand: three concentric rings, each spinning on its own axis, cradling a central cup housing that stays stubbornly level. Give the outer ring a nudge and the whole mechanism rolls and settles, yet your drink never tips. It is the physics of a ship's compass, shrunk down for your desk, your car or your caravan. We print each one to order in tough PETG, so it shrugs off a hot parked car and the condensation from an icy drink. The rings move freely straight off the printer, with no assembly and no fiddly hardware. Use it as a self-levelling drink holder, a mesmerising desk fidget, or a stable perch for a small planter. Printed locally in Australia and ready to ship in days.
