Flow Curve Lamp

A softly glowing bedside lamp with rippled spiral ribs, printed in PLA+ for warm honeyed light.

Some lamps just sit there. This one moves, at least to the eye. The Flow Curve shade gently barrels out at the middle, wrapped top to bottom in diagonal ribs that spiral around the cylinder like a slow twist of poured cream. Switch it on and the ridges catch the light unevenly on purpose, so the glow ripples rather than sits flat. It is 3D printed in PLA+, which gives the fine ribbing crisp, consistent edges and lets a warm bulb diffuse softly through the walls instead of glaring through as one hot point. The shade sits on a simple round base that stays out of the way, so the twisting texture is always the star of the tabletop. Assembly is refreshingly simple: shade and base join with a single M5 bolt and nut, so setup takes a minute and the shade lifts straight back off if you ever need to pack it away. Style it on a bedside table next to a candle and a stack of books, on a console in the hallway, or anywhere you want a lamp that still looks good switched off. Printed to order in Australia and ready in a couple of days. Natural and white lean into the soft, honeyed glow shown here, while bone and transparent options let you dial the warmth up or down to suit the room.
