E27 Base
A low, sturdy puck-shaped base that cradles a wired E27 socket, with a channel for a tidy cord.
Every lamp needs a solid foot, and this one does not cut corners. Shaped like a low, wide puck, the base is built to cradle a white E27 socket right at its centre, giving your table lamp a grounded stance instead of a wobbly stand in.
Turn it over and the thinking becomes obvious. The socket sits recessed into a stepped cavity, and a cutaway channel in the rim lets the cord run out flush against the base rather than trailing loose underneath. Concentric print lines wrap the top and sides in a raw, unsanded finish, so the piece reads as honestly 3D printed rather than mass produced.
We print it in ABS rather than a purely decorative filament, because a base like this sits close to a warm globe for the long haul and needs to shrug off that heat without softening. It is a small material choice that quietly does a lot of work.
Available in multiple sizes to fit your socket and shade, this base suits anyone fixing up an old lamp or building one from scratch. Printed to order in Australia and ready in just one to two days. Chocolate brown mirrors the sample shown here, or choose black, white, beige or matte grey to match your room.
