Dune Clock - photo 1

Dune Clock

Twelve soft ridges mark the hours with light and shadow, printed in smooth PLA+ to order.

Dune does not shout the time at you. There are no numbers on this clock at all, just twelve raised curves sweeping around the face like wind-shaped sand, each crest quietly marking an hour. As the light in your room shifts, the shadows between the ridges shift with it, so the face never looks the same twice. Each clock is 3D printed in PLA+ with a soft matte finish that makes those sculpted curves read beautifully, from the gentle dome of the side profile to the crisp crest of every ridge. The body prints as two semicircular halves that lock together with small connector joints, forming one seamless circle. The back is just as considered as the front. A keyhole opening takes a single wall screw, a second slot suits the standard hooks you already use for picture frames, and a third slot accepts the desk stand, so Dune moves happily from the bedroom wall to the office shelf whenever your space changes. It is designed around the Bambu Lab Clock Components Kit 011, with the mechanism housing built neatly into the rear. Printed to order in Australia in your choice of colour. The warm sand tone photographed here is a favourite, and a matte black version turns the whole face into pure shadow play.
