Drift Glow

Some lamps light a room. This one decorates it first and lights it second. Drift Glow wraps a tall cylinder in a swirling topographic pattern, like contour lines on a map or rings in a cut log, sitting on a compact dark base that disappears under the design. Switch it off and it reads as a sculptural object in its own right, the grooves catching shadow across the curved surface. Switch it on and the whole pattern comes alive, with light spilling unevenly through the thinner sections so the lines glow warm gold against the darker ridges. It is genuinely a different piece depending on the time of day. Each shade is 3D printed in PLA+, which holds the fine contour detail cleanly and diffuses the bulb's glow into a soft, even wash rather than a harsh point of light. There is no assembly beyond popping in your own bulb: the cylinder and base arrive ready to plug in and enjoy. It suits a bedside table, a reading nook, or a console in the hallway where you want ambience rather than task lighting.
