Dog Planter
A cheeky 3D printed puppy planter in tough PETG, ready to hold your favourite houseplant with a grin.
Meet the planter with more personality than your last three succulents combined. This chibi puppy sits back on its stubby paws, ears standing tall, tongue poking out mid pant, with a soil-filled head that doubles as the planting cavity for a small trailing plant or cutting.
Each one is 3D printed in PETG Basic, chosen because a planter spends its whole life against damp soil and the odd overflow from watering. The layer lines run in soft horizontal bands across the body, giving it a subtle woodgrain texture rather than a slick toy-shop finish, and the glossy black eyes and red tongue are printed as a separate contrast layer so the face really pops.
Pop it on a side table, a windowsill or a cluttered desk and it instantly becomes the thing everyone picks up first. It is the right scale for a small pothos cutting, a mini calathea or a handful of faux greenery if your thumb runs more grey than green.
Printed to order here in Australia, usually ready in a day or two. Pick the coat that matches your own dog, from the classic chocolate brown shown here to black, white, light brown or coffee.
