Bridge Bookend - photo 1

Bridge Bookend

Two 3D printed stone abutments hold your books as the span of a miniature bridge.

Most bookends just stop books falling over. This one turns your whole shelf into a piece of architecture. The set is two mirrored bridge abutments, each with brick coursing, arched portals and a stepped balustrade running down the ramp, and the books you place between them become the span of the bridge itself. Each half is 3D printed in PLA+ with the detail sharp straight off the printer: you can trace the individual bricks, the little balusters along the railing and the shadowed arches beneath. The classic grey finish reads like weathered stone and sits comfortably beside timber, white built-ins or darker library shelving. The design is as practical as it is charming. A long, flat ramp footprint spreads the load along the shelf while the tall abutment face takes the push of the books, so a full row of hardcovers stays exactly where you put it. Every pair is printed to order in Australia and ready within days. Grey is the favourite, but we can print it in a colour to suit your room, from crisp white to dramatic black.
