Babushka Vase

Some vases just hold flowers. This one holds your attention. Each piece in this nesting trio is printed with a rolling chevron texture, wave stacked on wave around the cylinder like a knitted throw caught mid ripple. Line the three up smallest to largest and they nest together like a set of babushka dolls, which is exactly where the idea came from. Printed in PETG Basic rather than a purely decorative plastic, the set is built to actually hold water. Fill the largest with a fresh bunch of stems, keep dried lavender standing tall in the middle size, or let a small trailing plant spill its leaves down over the ripples in the smallest. The wave pattern is really just the printer's own layer lines, stretched and shaped into something worth looking at twice. Turn a piece in the light and the ripples shift from soft shadow to sharp highlight, which is why one vase alone already feels like a display piece.
