Atlas

A 3D printed Atlas holds a weathered globe that splits open to catch your spare coins and tips.

Atlas has been holding up the world since Greek mythology needed a scapegoat for gravity, and this kneeling statue gives him a proper day job: coin dispenser. He kneels on one knee, arms locked overhead, shouldering a globe that is actually two halves stacked together, a stone-textured bowl below and a continent-carved dome on top. Lift the domed lid off and the bowl underneath is yours to fill with spare change, loose keys, or the day's tips. The whole piece prints in PLA+, with a raw, weathered texture across Atlas's shoulders and thighs that reads like carved stone rather than plastic, right down to the visible print lines on the round base. It looks equally at home holding down a stack of paperbacks on a bookshelf, catching coins by the front door, or sitting on a cafe counter as a genuinely different tip jar. The mythological pose gives it a talking-point quality that a plain bowl or tray never will. Printed to order here in Australia and ready to ship in a couple of days. Steel Grey is the closest match to the weathered stone look in these photos, or ask for bronze, aluminium or matte black if you want Atlas to match your decor.
