Algaecube
A tangled seaweed silhouette in PLA+ that turns one small tea light into a wall of dancing shadows.
Algaecube looks like a fistful of seaweed frozen mid sway and folded into a cube. Every side is an open tangle of looping, ribbon-like strands, no two loops quite the same, with a solid flat base holding the whole knot of lines together.
We print each one in PLA+, which lets the slender strands hold their shape and their curl without going soft or stringy. On this cube every corner and crossing stays crisp.
Drop a tea light inside and the real trick reveals itself: the gaps between strands throw a wash of wavy, plant-like shadows across your wall or ceiling, turning a dinner table or a windowsill into something closer to being underwater.
Made to order in Australia and out the door in a day or two. The classic white lets the shadows do the talking, or pick a colour that leans into the seaweed look, an ocean blue or green, for a piece that reads just as good with the lights on.
