OzFDM PolyPropylene brings one of the world's most useful plastics to your printer. It prints with excellent layer adhesion, good impact strength and a smooth surface finish, and it is naturally lightweight with strong chemical and fatigue resistance that lets it flex repeatedly without cracking, a property few other common filaments can match.

That combination makes PP ideal for living hinges that need to open and close thousands of times without failing, containers that have to survive being dropped or squeezed, automotive parts exposed to fuels and fluids, lab and chemical-handling pieces that need genuine resistance to what they're holding, and functional end-use prototypes destined for real service rather than just a shelf.

PP is notoriously tricky to get bed adhesion on with standard build surfaces, since almost nothing sticks to it well - a PP-specific build surface, adhesive, or a raft is generally worth using rather than fighting the problem print after print. It is also prone to warping on larger parts, so a heated, enclosed environment and steady bed temperature help keep prints flat.

Recommended nozzle: 220°C - 240°C
Recommended bed: 80°C - 110°C
