OzFDM PET-GF is a glass fibre reinforced, PET-based engineering filament built for stiffness and stability. Adding glass fibre to PET's already easy printing and chemical resistance produces stronger, more stable parts that warp less and perform better structurally than standard PETG, without giving up too much of what makes PET-based materials pleasant to print in the first place.

That makes it a practical option for brackets and housings that need to hold their shape under load, tooling and fixtures used repeatedly on the bench, automotive components exposed to vibration, and other functional prototypes where standard PETG would flex or creep more than you'd like. It is a natural step up for anyone who already prints PETG regularly and needs more rigidity without jumping straight to a high-temperature engineering material that demands a whole new printer setup.

It keeps good layer adhesion and thermal stability while staying more approachable to print than many advanced engineering filaments, so it is a practical middle ground for functional work. As with any glass fibre filled material, an abrasion-resistant or hardened nozzle will extend nozzle life considerably compared with running it through standard brass, and it is worth budgeting for that upgrade if you plan on running much of it.

Because it shares much of PETG's printing behaviour, existing PETG profiles are usually a reasonable starting point, though checking your slicer's recommended settings for the glass-filled variant specifically will get you cleaner results than assuming the two behave identically.
