OzFDM TPU95A is a flexible, rubber-like filament that bends, stretches and bounces back without breaking. As a durable thermoplastic elastomer at 95A shore hardness, it sits firmly enough to hold detail while still handling repeated flexing and abrasion far better than any rigid material could.
With temperature resistance to 95°C and a wide fourteen-colour range, it is a strong choice for phone cases that need to survive drops, gaskets and seals that have to keep their shape under repeated compression, wearables that flex with the body, RC tyres that need real grip and give, and vibration dampers for mounting sensitive components.
Flexible filaments need a different approach to printing than rigid ones. Print slow and steady, since rushing a soft material tends to cause under-extrusion, buckling in the extruder path and inconsistent layers. A direct-drive extruder is strongly preferred over Bowden setups, as it shortens the distance the flexible filament has to travel before it reaches the nozzle, cutting down on the buckling and grinding that can otherwise plague TPU prints. Reducing retraction distance and speed compared with rigid filaments also helps avoid jams and skipped extruder steps.
