A glossy dual-tone finish, straight off the plate
OzFDM Silk Fusion PLA blends two silk colours into a single filament for prints with a rich, glossy sheen and smooth colour transitions running through the model. The result looks professionally finished straight off the printer, with no painting, sanding or post-processing needed to get that showroom shine.
With dual-tone combinations like Blue-Green, Gold-Rose and Black-Red, it is made for vases, statues, decorative pieces and gifts that need to catch the light and hold someone's attention on a shelf or a gift table. Because the colour shift happens gradually along the print, tall or spiralised models such as vases show it off particularly well, with each layer moving subtly into the next.
Like other silk PLAs, it prints best a touch slower than standard PLA and benefits from a well-tuned first layer and consistent flow, since any stringing or blobbing is more visible against the glossy surface than it would be on a matte filament. High tensile strength means your creations stay as durable as they are eye-catching, so decorative pieces hold up to regular handling rather than just looking good on day one.
