OzFDM PLA Metal blends nano-metal powder into an easy-printing PLA base, so your prints take on the genuine weight and sheen of real metal. The infused particles leave a smooth metallic surface that can be polished for even more shine, giving a level of realism that a painted plastic part struggles to match.

Choose Aluminium, Copper or Bronze for props, jewellery, hardware replicas, trophies and decorative pieces that need an industrial or antique feel without the difficulty of printing pure metal composites. The added weight from the metal powder also makes finished pieces feel noticeably more substantial in the hand than a standard PLA print of the same size, which matters for anything meant to feel premium, like an award or a display piece.

Because the metal content is a powder blended into a PLA carrier rather than a fully metal filament, it prints on standard equipment at PLA-friendly temperatures, with no special hotend or bed setup required. Light sanding and polishing after printing will bring out extra shine on exposed surfaces, particularly on the Copper and Bronze shades, letting you take a raw print further towards a genuinely metallic finish.
