OzFDM PETG+ Transparent brings the same easy-printing, low-warp formula as our solid PETG+, but with exceptional light transmittance that lets your prints glow. It keeps the strength and heat resistance of PETG while shrugging off the cracking and warping that plague ordinary PETG, so you get a see-through material that's also genuinely durable.

The translucent colour range is made for light pipes, LED diffusers, vases, tinted enclosures and decorative pieces where you want colour and clarity at once - anywhere a project needs light to pass through the walls of the print itself rather than sitting behind a separate diffuser or lens. It's equally suited to purely decorative pieces where the tinted glow is the whole point of the design.

Print thin walls for a stained-glass effect or thicker sections for a rich, jewel-like tint - wall thickness has a much bigger visual effect on translucent filament than on an opaque one, so it's worth test-printing a small swatch at a couple of different thicknesses before committing to a full model. Because the formula shares its low-warp, non-cracking behaviour with solid PETG+, larger translucent pieces like lampshades and vases are less likely to lift off the bed mid-print than they would be in a standard transparent PETG.
