OzFDM PETG-GF reinforces PETG with glass fibre for superior strength, rigidity and dimensional stability. The fibre content stiffens parts and helps them hold tolerance, making it a dependable engineering-grade upgrade over plain PETG for anyone who has found standard PETG a touch too flexible for a load-bearing design.

With a 1.75mm diameter held to ±0.05mm on a 1KG spool, it is well suited to engineering, automotive and industrial parts, brackets, housings and load-bearing fixtures where flatness and consistent wall thickness matter as much as raw strength. Compared to carbon-fibre-filled alternatives, the glass fibre keeps the natural or black colour options a little more workshop-friendly and avoids the very dark, all-black look that carbon fill always produces, while still delivering a genuine rigidity upgrade over unfilled PETG.

A wear-resistant nozzle is recommended for glass-filled filament, since glass fibre is abrasive on brass nozzles in much the same way carbon fibre is, and using a hardened or ruby-tipped nozzle will save you having to replace a worn one partway through a project. Print settings are close to standard PETG, so it's a reasonable step up for anyone already comfortable printing PETG who wants extra stiffness without moving to a fully specialised engineering filament.
